Our uncleaned ancient Greek coins come to us directly from our European source and we have removed all of the holed or obvious slugs. Uncleaned Greek coins are much less common than uncleaned Roman coins, and thus our supply of these coins is very limited. These coins are all older than 2000 years and come to us from a time when man was first learning to use coins as a form of commerce. Coins that are included in this group of uncleaned Greek coins are those of Alexander the Great and Philip II (father to Alexander the Great), as well as those of other times and locations in ancient Greek history. Images of Hercules and Greek gods as well as other interesting obverse motifs may be found. Reverses may have images of bows, clubs, lightning bolts, horses, and warriors as well as others.
